Azealia Banks Dropped from Festival After Zayn Malik Rant

The UK festival was less than impressed with her abusive words.

The target of Azealia Banks’ latest Twitter tirade is Zayn Malik, who she called a “f—-t,” a “sand n—–,” and a “b—- n—-” in a generally unprovoked rant. Yesterday, the rapper noticed artistic similarities between her own work and Malik’s video for “Like I Would.” He later wrote on Twitter (at no one in particular) “I see you reaching but I don’t care.”

This commenced the latest series of nearly unpublishable Azealia Banks tweets at Zayn, his followers and her detractors. Fourteen-year-old Disney Star Skai Jackson suggested that banks should “simmer down,” which prompted a vicious response about menses. Let’s just say it all got very ugly, again.

The U.K. Born & Bred festival was less than impressed with her abusive words, and announced they will drop Banks from the upcoming lineup of performers. Zayn fans had fervently tweeted at the promoters urging the decision, making it a small victory for #TeamZayn.
