“My heart is heavy today. Our music is intended to save lives, like it has mine and many others,” he wrote. “My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss & my prayers are with all those injured. Respectfully, Tip.”

According to the New York Daily News, rapper Troy Ave was arrested following examination of surveillance footage. Ave was injured in the shooting—though his shot to the leg was accidentally self-sustained, according to the report. He faces charges for illegal firearm possession and attempted murder, pending a formal murder charge until ballistics investigations are complete.

Rest In Peace Bro. God bless.
