G-Unit Drop New Single ‘Set the Pick’

By Jonathan Hailey

The G-Unit reunion is in full effect. The group, along with DJ Whoo Kid, are set to drop a new mixtape called The Lost Flash Drive. Before the full project hits the internet, G-Unit dropped a new banger titled “Set the Pick.”

The track features verses from Kidd Kidd, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks. Banks uses his signature sleepy flow to rhyme about stacking paper. Yayo uses his bars to talk about his legacy in the rap game. Kidd Kidd spits about teamwork and getting money by any means necessary.

The Lost Flash Drive was scheduled for release yesterday (August 29th), however, technical difficulties caused a delay. Whoo Kid told XXL yesterday, “The Lost Flash Drive project was supposed to be released tonight but a couple of the sessions were corrupted. They had to go in and re-record it so you can expect the full project to be released tomorrow.”
