Donald Glover Thanks Migos for “Bad and Boujee” at Golden Globes

Donald Glover is a modern-day Renaissance Man. The actor, comedian, and rapper (known as Childish Gambino) also happens to the creator and star of the hit show “Atlanta.”

The show, which revolves around the Atlanta rap scene, received the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy on Sunday evening.

Glover, the showrunner, thanked Atlanta rapping trio Migos for their hit “Bad and Boujee” in his acceptance speech.

In a backstage interview, the showrunner explained why he shouted them out: “I think they’re The Beatles of this generation.”

He added, “Honestly, that song is just fly. There’s no better song to have sex to.”

The hype was already real for season two of “Atlanta,” but it will be even crazier as Glover continues to put on for the culture.

Oh, and since that Golden Globes shout-out, “Bad and Boujee” is now the No. 1 song in the country, The Fader reports.
