Based off the acclaimed 1960s play written by poet/playwright Langston Hughes, Black Nativity follows a struggling single mother from Baltimore, played by Hudson, who is forced to send her son Langston (played by Jacob Latimore) to his estranged grandparents’ home in New York City for the holidays.
